Jordan Els Signs Contract with Northampton Saints Until Season's End
Jordan Els, a loose-head prop, has signed a contract with Northampton Saints that will last until the end of the current season. This decision follows his impressive performance during a trial period with the team, which is the reigning Premiership champion.
Previously, Els had joined Northampton on a short-term contract after leaving Harlequins, where he played 58 matches over seven seasons. The 29-year-old South African has already contributed to Northampton's games this season, including a 28-12 win against Cardiff in the Champions Cup and a start in a 29-14 loss to Harlequins in the Premiership Rugby Cup.
Phil Dowson, the director of rugby for Northampton, noted that the team was in need of front-row cover and highlighted Els' dedication and high standards since joining the squad.
