Jordan Love played one series for the Packers in their preseason opener, leading the team to a field goal before exiting the game.

In their preseason opener, the Green Bay Packers opted for a different strategy than the Pittsburgh Steelers regarding their starting quarterback, Jordan Love. Love took the field following the opening kickoff and orchestrated a 46-yard drive that culminated in a field goal.

After this initial drive, Love left the game, allowing Tyrod Taylor to take over as quarterback. During the drive, Love completed 3 of 5 passes for 18 yards, including a 19-yard connection with Jayden Reed. A penalty for unnecessary roughness on a field goal attempt by the Steelers allowed the Packers to attempt a shorter kick after an incompletion on third down.

Notably, Aaron Rodgers did not start for the Steelers, with Mason Rudolph taking the lead as the starting quarterback for the game.
