Jordan Love Leads Packers to Touchdown in Preseason Game
In a preseason matchup against the Denver Broncos, Packers coach Matt LaFleur intended to have his starting offense play more than one series. However, after a successful 12-play scoring drive, LaFleur decided he had seen enough from his team.
Quarterback Jordan Love completed 5 of 7 passes for 56 yards, culminating in an 11-yard touchdown pass to MarShawn Lloyd on third down. The drive included a crucial fourth-down conversion, where Love connected with Matthew Golden for a 19-yard gain on fourth-and-1 from the Denver 40-yard line.
In the previous preseason game, Love had a less extensive outing, going 3-for-5 for 18 yards, which ended with a field goal after a 10-play, 46-yard drive. It is anticipated that he will not participate in the upcoming preseason finale.
