Jordan Love Listed as Limited Participant Ahead of Lions Game
The Green Bay Packers have designated quarterback Jordan Love as a limited participant in their initial injury report on Wednesday due to a back injury, as they prepare for their upcoming game against the Detroit Lions.
This designation followed an estimated walk-through practice, and the team plans to monitor Love's condition over the next two days before finalizing his status on Friday. Until now, Love had not appeared on any injury report this season, having played all 75 offensive snaps in the Packers' recent 23-13 win over the Dallas Cowboys.
In that game, Love completed 23 of 41 passes for 276 yards, with one touchdown and one interception, while also scoring on a short run. He has recorded 1,684 passing yards, 11 touchdowns, and four interceptions this season, achieving a passer rating of 91.8. Despite experiencing back soreness, Love expressed confidence in his ability to play against the Lions. The Packers, currently at 4-2, will face the 3-2 Lions at Ford Field, where Love's connections with wide receivers Christian Watson and Matthew Golden will be crucial, as noted by Lions coach Dan Campbell.
