Jordan Neill Aims to Overcome Injuries in Namibia Series
Jordan Neill, an all-rounder for Ireland, is set to participate in a five-match one-day series in Namibia, starting Thursday in Windhoek. Selected by head coach Gary Wilson, Neill aims to leverage his past injury experiences to enhance his performance.
Having made his debut for Ireland at 19, Neill faced multiple injuries following his Test debut series in Bangladesh, which kept him off the field for much of the year. He has recently returned to competitive play, joining the Amsterdam Flames in the European T20 Premier League.
Neill views the Namibia tour as crucial preparation for the World Cup qualifier next year, where Namibia will co-host the tournament. He believes this series will provide players a chance to secure their spots in the squad and help the team regain its rhythm in the 50-over format.
