Jordan Nobbs Aims for Newcastle United Promotion to Women's Super League

Jordan Nobbs, a midfielder with 71 caps for England, has expressed her desire to assist Newcastle United in gaining promotion to the Women's Super League for the first time. Nobbs, who joined Newcastle as a marquee signing last year, aims to achieve this goal after the team finished sixth in the second tier last season.

Born in Durham and starting her career at Sunderland, Nobbs acknowledges the challenges faced by players in the North East, stating that promoting a local team would be a significant achievement. She noted that Newcastle's previous season was hindered by too many draws but remains optimistic about their ambitions following a busy transfer window.
