Jordyn Tyson to Miss Practice Ahead of Week 9
Saints wide receiver Jordyn Tyson will not participate in practice this week, prolonging his wait for an NFL debut until at least Week 9.
General Manager Mickey Loomis announced during a press conference that Tyson will miss practice in Paris before the upcoming game against the Steelers. He has been sidelined since mid-August due to a hamstring injury, which is not linked to prior hamstring issues from his college career, according to head coach Kellen Moore.
Loomis noted that Tyson is making progress, but did not provide a specific timeline for his return. The Saints have a bye in Week 8, making their Week 9 game against the Browns the earliest opportunity for Tyson to rejoin the team. Given his extended absence and previous hamstring problems, a gradual return to practice may be necessary once he is cleared.
