Jorge Martin Aims for MotoGP Comeback at Malaysian Grand Prix
Jorge Martin is preparing for a return to MotoGP at the upcoming Malaysian Grand Prix following an injury that prevented him from competing in the race in Australia.
The Aprilia rider suffered a fracture to the radius in his right arm during a crash on lap eight of the Phillip Island sprint while contending for the lead against Marc Marquez. This injury ruled him out of the Australian race.
After the incident, Martin underwent imaging tests in Melbourne, which confirmed a non-displaced fracture, allowing him to avoid surgery. He is expected to focus on physiotherapy, including magnetotherapy, to aid his recovery. Despite the injury, he hopes to be cleared to race at Sepang, although his physical condition may be compromised.
