Jorge Masvidal Engaged in UFC Negotiations for Comeback Fight

Jorge Masvidal has confirmed that he is in discussions with the UFC regarding a potential comeback fight, with Leon Edwards being one of his preferred opponents.

Masvidal mentioned that a deal could be reached either later this year or early in 2027, noting that the financial terms are improving. He has not competed in the UFC since April 2023 and has not won a fight in the organization since November 2019.

The rivalry between Masvidal and Edwards dates back to March 2019, when an altercation occurred backstage at an event in London. Masvidal expressed interest in resolving this unfinished business, stating he is looking for the right opponent and financial agreement before finalizing any fight date.
