Joseph Ossai Suffers Foot Injury in Preseason Debut

Joseph Ossai, a pass rusher for the Jets, experienced his first preseason game on Friday night, but his participation was cut short due to injury.

After playing 11 snaps, during which he recorded two tackles and one pressure, Ossai injured his left foot and had to leave the field.

Prior to this game, he had been on the active/physically unable to perform list. Ossai joined the Jets on March 12 and was previously a third-round draft pick by the Bengals in 2021, where he accumulated 116 tackles, 44 quarterback hits, and 14.5 sacks over his career.
