Josh Allen Achieves 100th Career Win in Overtime
On Monday night in Los Angeles, Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, achieved his 100th career win, which also marked his first victory in overtime.
Entering the Week 5 matchup against the Rams, Allen had a record of 0-7 in overtime. The Bills secured a 38-35 win, improving their record to 4-1, aided by a blocked field goal from defensive end Gregory Rousseau and Allen's significant rushing performance, totaling 121 yards.
This win places Allen among an elite group of quarterbacks who have reached 100 victories in their ninth season, joining Patrick Mahomes, Russell Wilson, and Tom Brady. The victory also keeps the Bills in first place in their division, as a loss would have dropped them to 3-2.
Next, the Bills will face the 3-2 Raiders in Las Vegas on Sunday, followed by a home game against the 4-1 Ravens and a Monday night game against the 5-0 Vikings.
