Josh Allen and Bills Starters Set to Play in Pre-Season Opener Against Panthers

Brady, in his first year as head coach after the promotion from offensive coordinator, emphasized the importance of this game for the team to showcase their identity. The Bills are also looking to acclimate to their new $2.1 billion stadium, having just held their first practice there.

This pre-season appearance will be Allen's first in two years, as he did not participate in any pre-season games last year. Defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard has also indicated that his starters will play, with the defense undergoing significant changes this off-season. Following this game, the Bills will have a joint scrimmage in Cleveland and host Pittsburgh on August 27 before their regular-season opener against Detroit on September 17.
