Josh Allen Leads MVP Odds as Caleb Williams Emerges
After the first week of the 2026 NFL season, Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, continues to hold the top position in the MVP odds.
His odds improved from +600 to +500, while Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams has surged to second place at +600, following a notable performance in a 59-37 victory against the Carolina Panthers. Before Week 1, Williams' odds were at +1200.
Other contenders include Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens at +650, Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals at +900, and Brock Purdy of the San Francisco 49ers at +1200. Patrick Mahomes from the Kansas City Chiefs, Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys, and Trevor Lawrence of the Jacksonville Jaguars are all tied at +1800. Last year's MVP, Matthew Stafford of the Los Angeles Rams, saw his odds drop to +2000 after a disappointing loss in Week 1.
