Josh Allen Leads NFL in Rushing Touchdowns Entering Week 6
Bills quarterback Josh Allen has entered Week 6 leading the NFL in rushing touchdowns with a total of eight. He is also tied for 16th place in passing touchdowns, having thrown for seven.
If Allen maintains his current performance, he could become only the third quarterback in NFL history to finish a season as the leader in rushing touchdowns. The previous quarterbacks to achieve this were Daryle Lamonica in 1964 and Johnny Lujack in 1950.
Allen is on track to reach 27 rushing touchdowns this season, just one shy of the single-season record of 28 set by LaDainian Tomlinson in 2006. He faces competition from Ravens running back Derrick Henry and Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs, both of whom have seven rushing touchdowns.
