
Josh Allen Tops NFL Quarterback Rankings for Week 2
In the latest NFL quarterback rankings released by PFF, Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills holds the top position as the league heads into Week 2. His performance in the season opener included an 8.8% big-time throw rate and a PFF grade of 69.7 during the Bills' victory over the Texans.
Other quarterbacks highlighted include Joe Burrow, who faced challenges but managed a PFF grade of 66.2 in the Bengals' win against the Buccaneers, and Lamar Jackson, who achieved an 83.1 PFF grade in the Ravens' successful start. Patrick Mahomes returned from injury with a solid performance, while Matthew Stafford struggled significantly against the 49ers.
Trevor Lawrence also made a strong impression, ranking high in completion rate over expectation in the Jaguars' win over the Browns. Meanwhile, several quarterbacks faced difficulties, including Justin Herbert and Baker Mayfield, who both recorded multiple turnover-worthy plays in their respective games.
