Josh Downs' Groin Injury Not Serious, Expected to Return Soon
Indianapolis Colts receiver Josh Downs is reportedly recovering from a groin injury that is not considered serious. Head coach Shane Steichen informed the media on Sunday that Downs is expected to return to practice soon.
There is a possibility that Downs could participate in the Colts' joint practice with the New England Patriots on Tuesday. His presence is significant for the Colts' offense, especially as teammate Alec Pierce is still recovering from ankle surgery.
In the previous season, Downs recorded 58 receptions for 566 yards and four touchdowns over 16 games. He is currently in the final year of his rookie contract after being drafted in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
