Colts wide receiver Josh Downs has requested a trade, with the Steelers among the teams showing interest as the trade deadline approaches.
Josh Downs, a wide receiver for the Indianapolis Colts, has formally requested a trade from the team, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
Downs is considered one of the top trade candidates and is attracting significant interest ahead of the in-season trade deadline. Reports indicate that the Pittsburgh Steelers, along with other AFC teams, are exploring options in the receiver market.
While a trade this week is deemed unlikely, expectations suggest that the Colts may move Downs before the deadline on November 10. Currently in the final year of his rookie contract, Downs has played seven games this season, recording 26 receptions for 307 yards.
