Josh Downs Requests Trade as Colts Prepare for Deadline
The Indianapolis Colts are undergoing significant changes as wide receiver Josh Downs has officially requested a trade. This development comes shortly after the team traded guard Quenton Nelson and defensive tackle DeForest Buckner.
Downs, who is 25 years old and still on his rookie contract, has caught 26 passes for 307 yards this season but has not scored a touchdown. His request adds him to the list of potential trade assets, including star running back Jonathan Taylor, who is also considered a valuable piece for the Colts.
With the NFL trade deadline approaching on November 10, the Colts may be looking to rebuild their roster. Other veterans, such as defensive tackle Grover Stewart, could also be on the move as the team evaluates its options.
