Josh Fraser Appointed Senior Coach of Carlton Football Club
Josh Fraser has been appointed as the senior coach of Carlton Football Club following a successful interim coaching stint that secured the team a place in the Wildcard Round.
Fraser took over from Michael Voss in May when the team was struggling with a 1-8 record. During his 13 games as interim coach, he achieved 10 victories, including significant wins against Geelong and Brisbane, as well as a crucial draw with the Western Bulldogs.
Fraser expressed his gratitude for the support from the Carlton community and emphasized the importance of maintaining a strong connection with members and supporters. Chief executive Graham Wright noted that Fraser's presentation during the selection process was impressive enough to secure him the role, highlighting his leadership qualities and commitment to the club's success. Reports indicate that Fraser has signed a contract for at least three years.
