Josh Hokit Comments on Alex Pereira's Heavyweight Loss
Josh Hokit has stated that Alex Pereira must rebuild his momentum after losing to Ciryl Gane in his heavyweight debut. Hokit remarked on social media that Pereira's performance marked Gane's easiest victory in five years.
Following Pereira's unanimous decision loss at UFC 327, Hokit expressed that if a fight between them is scheduled, it should be for the BMF title rather than a standard contender bout. Pereira had entered the heavyweight division with significant hype after successfully defending his light heavyweight title three times.
Hokit, who has a record of 14-3 and has won two consecutive fights since joining the UFC, noted that no timeline has been set for the next appearances of either fighter.
