Josh Jacobs Returns to Practice as Game Status Remains Uncertain
The Green Bay Packers are preparing for their upcoming game against the Lions without defensive end Micah Parsons, but running back Josh Jacobs will participate in practice this week.
Jacobs was taken off the Commissioner Exempt list on Monday, and head coach Matt LaFleur confirmed that he will have a complete week of practice. LaFleur noted that Jacobs's game status will depend on his performance during practice, as well as how much he will play if he is deemed active.
LaFleur expressed optimism about Jacobs's readiness, mentioning that he has been involved with the team during his leave, attending meetings and conditioning. Jacobs, who previously rushed for 2,258 yards and 29 touchdowns in his first two seasons, could provide a much-needed boost to the Packers' struggling ground game.
