Josh Simmons Returns to Chiefs Practice; Rashee Rice Remains Out
The Kansas City Chiefs will see offensive tackle Josh Simmons return to practice on Wednesday after being sidelined since the start of the regular season due to a back injury.
Head coach Andy Reid confirmed that Simmons will be on the field for the first time this season, noting that the team plans to gradually reintegrate him into practice. During Simmons' absence, rookie Khalil Benson has been filling in at left tackle.
The Chiefs are coming off a bye week, and Reid mentioned that wide receiver Rashee Rice will be the only player not participating in practice on Wednesday, as he is dealing with a hamstring injury sustained during the team's Week 4 victory over the Raiders.
