Juan Cuadrado Explores MLS Opportunities Amid Interest from Inter Miami
Juan Cuadrado is currently without a club following the conclusion of his one-year contract with Pisa in Italy's Serie A on June 30. He has confirmed receiving an offer from an MLS team, raising speculation about a possible move to join Lionel Messi at Inter Miami.
In an interview, the 37-year-old player mentioned that he has also received offers from a Mexican club and one from Europe, which is still under discussion. Cuadrado indicated that he is considering various proposals, including the possibility of returning to the Colombian Professional Football League.
While Cuadrado has not disclosed the names of the interested clubs, Inter Miami could be a strong contender due to his status as a free agent, which simplifies the contractual process. His addition would not impact the team's salary cap structure, as he would not need to be signed as a Designated Player. Furthermore, Cuadrado's experience, including participation in two World Cups and a Champions League final, could provide valuable depth and competition for the team.
