Judd Trump Advances to Shanghai Masters Final After Defeating Wu Yize

Judd Trump, the world number one, has advanced to the final of the Shanghai Masters after defeating reigning world champion Wu Yize with a score of 10-6.

Wu, 22, initially took the lead in the match and achieved three century breaks. However, Trump, 36, managed to recover from a slow start, eventually leading 4-2 and maintaining his advantage with two century breaks of his own.

This marks Trump's fifth appearance in the Shanghai final, having previously won the tournament in 2024. He will compete against either Kyren Wilson or Zhao Xintong in the final match scheduled for Sunday.
