Justin Herbert's Brief Appearance in Preseason Game Against 49ers

Herbert's first drive ended quickly as the Chargers went three-and-out. The first play resulted in a loss of a yard, followed by a 9-yard completion to tight end Charlie Kolar. However, his third attempt, a pass to Ladd McConkey, was incomplete, leading the team to punt from their own 43-yard line.

Trey Lance replaced Herbert as the quarterback for the Chargers' second drive later in the first quarter.
