Juventus Secures Loan Deal for Newcastle's Nick Woltemade
Juventus has reached an agreement to sign Nick Woltemade from Newcastle United on a season-long loan. The deal comes ahead of the transfer deadline and follows interest from several European clubs.
The 24-year-old forward, who joined Newcastle from Stuttgart for £69 million last summer, is set to travel to Turin for a medical after the clubs settled on a £3.5 million loan fee. This arrangement does not include an option for Juventus to purchase him permanently.
Woltemade has had limited playing time under Newcastle's new manager, having started only one of the first three matches. Juventus sought a forward following Jonathan David's loan move to Atletico Madrid and opted for Woltemade over other targets due to his lower cost and the absence of a buy obligation.
