Kansas City Chiefs Sign Kicker Justin Tucker to Practice Squad
The Kansas City Chiefs have added kicker Justin Tucker to their practice squad, a decision backed by head coach Andy Reid. Reid stated that Tucker has completed his suspension, allowing him to be available for selection.
Tucker, a highly regarded kicker with a notable career, faced allegations of sexual misconduct from multiple massage therapists but has consistently denied these claims and has not faced any criminal charges. He received a 10-game suspension from the NFL for violating the league's personal conduct policy and was released by the Baltimore Ravens in May 2025 due to declining performance.
Despite a challenging previous season, where he achieved a field-goal percentage of only 73.3%, Tucker is recognized as one of the most accurate kickers in NFL history, holding a career field-goal percentage of 89.1%. The Chiefs' decision to sign him comes after their current kicker, Harrison Butker, struggled with accuracy this season.
