
Karan Lamba Shines in Ranji Trophy Return, Leading Rajasthan Against Tamil Nadu
Karan Lamba made a remarkable return to the Ranji Trophy, scoring an unbeaten 103 runs, as Rajasthan established a strong position against Tamil Nadu at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. The match, part of the Elite Group-D, commenced on Sunday.
In addition to Lamba's century, debutant Rohan Rajbhar contributed significantly with 95 runs, while Sumit Godara added 49 runs to help Rajasthan reach 286 for four at the end of the first day. Tamil Nadu's P. Saravana Kumar claimed three wickets for 52 runs in his third Ranji match.
Lamba's innings featured aggressive strokes, including three consecutive boundaries off debutant D. Deepesh. Rajbhar, despite falling short of a century, showcased composure throughout his innings, forming crucial partnerships with Godara and Lamba. Tamil Nadu faced challenges, including an injury to all-rounder Sonu Yadav during the match.
