
Kareem Hunt Visits Detroit Lions for Potential Signing
Kareem Hunt met with the Detroit Lions on Tuesday as the team evaluates potential additions to their running back roster.
The 31-year-old running back, who played the last two seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs after five years with the Cleveland Browns, participated in all 17 games last season, accumulating 611 rushing yards and eight touchdowns. He also recorded 18 receptions for 143 yards and one touchdown.
Detroit's backup running back, Isiah Pacheco, is currently recovering from an MCL sprain, although head coach Dan Campbell indicated that Pacheco is expected to return by Week 1. Throughout his career, Hunt has amassed 5,775 rushing yards and 55 touchdowns across 121 games, along with 267 receptions for 2,209 yards and 18 touchdowns.
