Karl-Anthony Towns Injures Wrist but Returns to Lead Knicks to Victory
Karl-Anthony Towns appeared to injure his wrist during the first quarter of a game against the Chicago Bulls but managed to return and play a crucial role in the New York Knicks' victory.
After a collision with Bulls player Noa Essengue, Towns briefly left the game, raising concerns among fans about his return. However, he returned after taping his wrist and finished the game with impressive stats, including 19 points, 13 rebounds, five assists, and a steal, shooting 50% from the field and beyond the arc.
Knicks head coach Mike Brown commented on Towns' performance, noting that despite the injury, he was still making long-range shots. The Knicks secured their second win of the season, having previously started 0-3, marking a significant turnaround.
