Karl-Anthony Towns Welcomes Andre Drummond as Backup for Knicks

Karl-Anthony Towns, the center for the New York Knicks, has expressed his enthusiasm for having Andre Drummond as his new backup. This comes amid Towns' dissatisfaction with not receiving a contract extension during training camp.

Towns praised Drummond, highlighting his skills as one of the best rebounders in the current era. He noted the potential for Drummond to showcase his abilities within the Knicks' system, crediting both Drummond's trust in the team and the coaching staff's vision.

Drummond joined the Knicks on a one-year, minimum-salary contract after previously playing for the Philadelphia 76ers.
