Karun Chandhok Expresses Concerns Over Mercedes F1 Upgrades
Former Formula 1 driver Karun Chandhok has expressed concerns about Mercedes' recent aerodynamic upgrades, suggesting that the team should be worried about their performance.
Chandhok noted that the new parts have not resulted in the expected improvement, as evidenced by Mercedes' recent struggles in races. Despite Kimi Antonelli's strong performance, finishing third in the Singapore Grand Prix, the overall results were disappointing, especially compared to Red Bull's Max Verstappen, who won the last two races.
Chandhok remarked that the upgrades did not provide a significant boost in speed, as demonstrated by George Russell's performance, who finished ninth after starting from 19th due to penalties. Currently, Antonelli leads the drivers' standings, while Mercedes tops the constructors' championship.
