Kate Courtney Thrives in Road Racing with FDJ United-Suez

Kate Courtney, a newly signed rider for FDJ United-Suez, is adapting to road racing after transitioning from mountain biking. Recently, she participated in three kermesse races in Belgium, securing two wins and a second-place finish.

Despite feeling nervous at her first race with the team, Courtney expressed excitement about the learning experience and the support from her teammates. The kermesse races, although not UCI-sanctioned, are integral to Belgian cycling culture, and Courtney appreciated the competitive atmosphere.
