Kawhi Leonard Shines in Pre-Season Debut with Raptors

Kawhi Leonard made a successful return to the Toronto Raptors, leading the team to a 148-98 victory over the New York Knicks in his pre-season debut.

Kawhi Leonard returned to the court for the Toronto Raptors, marking his first appearance since the 2019 NBA Finals. The game took place at Scotiabank Arena, where the Raptors faced the New York Knicks in their third pre-season match.

Leonard's debut was highly anticipated, especially after a trade from the Los Angeles Clippers that had been delayed due to an NBA investigation. He missed the first two pre-season games for reconditioning but made a significant impact in this match, scoring 21 points and contributing defensively in a dominant 148-98 win.

Despite the Knicks fielding a weakened lineup, Leonard's performance showcased his skills and experience. He played 16 minutes, demonstrating his ability to enhance the team's overall play. His presence on the court was felt, as he helped create opportunities for his teammates and displayed strong defensive capabilities.
