Kaytron Allen Released by Washington Commanders
Kaytron Allen, who previously played as a running back for Penn State, has been waived by the Washington Commanders, as announced by the team on Thursday.
During his time with Washington, Allen participated in four games, where he recorded 12 carries for a total of 41 rushing yards without scoring a touchdown. His time on the field included a notable incident where he collided with teammate Sam Cosmi, who subsequently missed two games due to injuries.
The Commanders currently have a competitive running back lineup, which includes players such as Jacory Croskey-Merritt, Rachaad White, and Austin Ekeler. Allen, who set a record at Penn State with 4,180 rushing yards, is expected to attract interest from other teams after being placed on the waiver wire.
