Kazuma Okamoto Misses Second Straight Game for Blue Jays Due to Injury

Kazuma Okamoto was removed from the Toronto Blue Jays lineup for the second day in a row due to a left knee contusion. This decision was announced ahead of Tuesday's game against the Boston Red Sox.

Okamoto's absence follows a similar situation on Monday, and he is currently considered day-to-day as he recovers. Charles McAdoo, who played third base on Monday, will again fill that role for Tuesday's game.

In the lineup adjustments, Nathan Lukes will play in right field, while Brett Bateman and Myles Straw will occupy center and left field, respectively. McAdoo, who hit a home run in Monday's game, will bat leadoff, followed by Bateman and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. The Blue Jays are currently 3.5 games behind the final wild-card spot in the American League after a recent 8-4 stretch over their last 12 games.
