Keenan Allen Arrested on Drunk Driving Charges in Indianapolis
Keenan Allen, a veteran receiver for the Indianapolis Colts, was arrested early Sunday morning in downtown Indianapolis on multiple drunk driving charges. The incident occurred around 1 am ET, and Allen faces charges of driving while intoxicated and DWI endangering a person, both classified as misdemeanors.
The Colts acknowledged the arrest in a statement, indicating they are gathering more information but have no further comments at this time. Allen, who recently signed a one-year, $8.32 million contract with the team, has had limited playtime during the preseason, recording one catch for 24 yards in a game against the Detroit Lions.
Prior to joining the Colts, Allen had a notable career with the Los Angeles/San Diego Chargers and briefly played for the Chicago Bears. He was brought in to strengthen the Colts' receiving corps after the departure of leading receiver Michael Pittman Jr. Allen entered the 2026 season ranked 13th all-time in receptions.
