Allen was held for over 12 hours before being released around 3:30 pm. He faces two misdemeanor charges, including operating a vehicle while intoxicated and endangering a person, with a court appearance scheduled for September 16. This incident could impact his recent signing with the Colts, as he joined the team earlier this month and participated in a preseason game against the Detroit Lions.
The Colts have acknowledged the situation and are in the process of gathering more information. They did not provide further comments at this time.
