Colts wide receiver Keenan Allen faces two misdemeanor charges stemming from his August arrest for suspected DUI, with potential penalties including jail time and fines.

Keenan Allen, a wide receiver for the Colts, has been officially charged with two misdemeanors following his arrest in August on suspicion of driving under the influence.

The charges include operating a vehicle with an alcohol concentration equivalent of 0.15 or more, classified as a Class A misdemeanor, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated. The first charge may lead to a jail sentence of up to one year and a fine of up to $5000, while the second charge could result in a maximum of 60 days in jail and a fine of $500.

Colts General Manager Chris Ballard indicated that any disciplinary actions from the team will be managed internally. Additionally, Allen may face league discipline, which often includes a three-game suspension for alcohol-related offenses. He participated in the recent game against the Ravens, recording six receptions for 32 yards.
