Keenan Allen Signs One-Year Deal with Colts
Keenan Allen has signed a one-year contract with the Indianapolis Colts, concluding a lengthy period of free agency. The deal is reportedly valued at up to $8.32 million.
Allen, a third-round draft pick in 2013, has spent 11 seasons with the Chargers and one year with the Bears before returning to the Chargers in 2025. Throughout his career, he has recorded 1,055 receptions for 12,051 yards and 70 touchdowns.
He was a finalist for the Offensive Rookie of the Year award and has been selected to the Pro Bowl six times, with his most recent appearance in 2023. Allen will join a receiving corps that includes Alec Pierce, who is currently on the Physically Unable to Perform list, as well as Josh Downs, Ashton Dulin, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Anthony Gould, and Laquon Treadwell. His previous experience with Colts coach Shane Steichen, who was with the Chargers from 2014 to 2020, adds a familiar connection to his new team.
