Keffe D Convicted in Tupac Shakur Murder Case

Duane 'Keffe D' Davis was convicted of first-degree murder in the 1996 shooting of Tupac Shakur by a Las Vegas jury on August 31, after less than three hours of deliberation. Davis, 63, is the only individual charged in connection with the high-profile case involving the influential hip-hop artist.

Prosecutors argued that Davis orchestrated the attack, supplied the weapon, and facilitated the drive-by shooting from a white Cadillac. His extensive public discussions, recorded interviews, and a memoir published in 2019 became pivotal evidence in the trial, despite some inconsistencies in his accounts.
