Kelani Jordan to Defend WWE NXT Women’s Championship Against Jaida Parker

Kelani Jordan is scheduled to defend her WWE NXT Women’s Championship for the first time next week after accepting a challenge from Jaida Parker during the September 1 episode of NXT.

Jordan won the championship at NXT Heatwave on August 30 by defeating Kendal Grey. Following her victory, she celebrated on NXT, expressing her belief that she finally received the recognition she deserves. Jordan also mentioned that Grey is currently recovering in the hospital and that Wren Sinclair will be looking after her.

During Jordan's celebration, Parker interrupted to congratulate her but also highlighted her own recent success against Nattie at Heatwave. Parker demanded a match, reminding Jordan of their past encounters. Although Jordan acknowledged Parker's confidence, she declined to defend her title immediately, instead agreeing to the match for the following week.
