Kendal Daniels' Remarkable Comeback After Injury
Kendal Daniels, a rookie linebacker for the Falcons, experienced a dramatic turnaround after being stretchered off the field last Sunday. Just one week later, he played a crucial role in the Falcons' 29-20 victory against the previously undefeated 49ers.
Daniels had suffered a neck injury while attempting to tackle Bears tight end Colston Loveland, leading to an eight-minute medical evaluation before he was taken to a local hospital. Upon his return, he secured an interception from quarterback Brock Purdy, recorded nine solo tackles, and recovered a fumble.
Coach Kevin Stefanski praised Daniels' performance as remarkable. Despite the previous week's injury, Daniels focused on his game and expressed gratitude for being able to play again.
