Kendal Daniels Returns to Practice After Injury Scare
Kendal Daniels, a rookie linebacker for the Falcons, was taken off the field on a stretcher during a game on Sunday due to a neck injury. Fortunately, he has since been cleared to return to practice.
The injury occurred when Daniels tackled Bears tight end Colston Loveland, resulting in a collision between Daniels' facemask and Loveland's knee. Medical personnel attended to him for several minutes, and he was immobilized and placed on a stretcher before being carted off the field. Despite the seriousness of the situation, he was conscious and able to move a hand.
Coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed that Daniels is not in the concussion protocol and is doing much better, indicating that he would participate in practice today. This quick recovery is notable given the circumstances of his injury.
