Kenny Omega and Jon Moxley Set for NJPW Power Struggle Matches
NJPW Power Struggle, scheduled for November 3, will feature notable matches involving Kenny Omega and Jon Moxley, following their participation in the NJPW King of Pro Wrestling event on October 12.
At King of Pro Wrestling, Omega made headlines by attacking IWGP Heavyweight Champion Yota Tsuji and challenger Boltin Oleg. This confrontation has led to a three-way match at Power Struggle, where Omega will face Tsuji and Oleg. A victory for Omega would position him as the number one contender for Tsuji's title at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 21.
Meanwhile, Moxley announced his intention to accept Shingo Takagi's open challenge, teaming up with Wheeler Yuta for a tag team match against Takagi and Jeff Cobb. Additionally, Gabe Kidd will defend the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship against Taichi, who has stated that a win would prevent Kidd from returning to NJPW. The event will also include an IWGP Tag Team Championship match featuring Will Ospreay and Callum Newman against The Knockout Brothers.
