Kenny Omega Reflects on AEW World Title Loss and Anime-Themed Entrance
Kenny Omega has lost the AEW World Championship after being defeated by Will Ospreay in the main event of AEW All In London 2026.
Both wrestlers had unique entrances for the match, with Ospreay featuring elements from his past and present set to 'Baba O'Riley' by The Who, while Omega's entrance was inspired by the anime My Hero Academia, including narration by Kenta Miyake, the voice of All Might. Following the match, Omega shared a message on X, thanking Ospreay and those who contributed to his entrance.
Ospreay's victory marked a significant milestone as he became the first English wrestler to win a major world championship on home soil and the first Englishman to win a main event at Wembley Stadium since 1992. Notably, Ospreay managed to kick out of Omega's signature move, the One-Winged Angel, a feat previously accomplished only by Kota Ibushi. Further developments regarding both wrestlers are expected on the September 2 episode of AEW Dynamite.
