Kevin Nash Defends Avery Styles Amid Criticism
WWE legend Kevin Nash has defended Avery Styles, the son of AJ Styles, against criticism following Avery's recent appearance in independent wrestling. Critics have pointed out that Avery did not help with backstage duties at a Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) event.
Nash expressed his belief that AJ Styles has already fulfilled his obligations in the wrestling industry, suggesting that Avery's career should be supported rather than scrutinized. He mentioned that if he were in AJ's position, he would advocate for Avery to start his career at WWE NXT, emphasizing that Avery is already paying his dues by participating in challenging matches.
While Nash respects GCW, he noted that Avery Styles has been announced as a new member of TNA's Lockdown pay-per-view. He also criticized Arik Cannon for opposing AJ Styles, highlighting the importance of maintaining good relationships in the wrestling business. Nash pointed out the significance of properly setting up the wrestling ring, referencing veteran referee Charles Robinson's ongoing involvement in this task.
