During his tenure in TNA, Nash became part of the Main Event Mafia faction and formed friendships with younger wrestlers, including Alex Shelley and Jay Lethal. He expressed positive memories of his time in TNA, which lasted until 2011, after which he returned to WWE for a brief period, culminating in a notable feud with CM Punk.
