Kevin Owens Poised for WWE Return Ahead of SummerSlam 2026
Kevin Owens may be on the verge of returning to WWE as reports suggest he is in Minneapolis, Minnesota for SummerSlam. According to PWInsider Elite, Owens is considered 'very close' to making his comeback.
This week, Owens trained at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando following successful neck surgery in July 2025. He had previously announced he would be sidelined for an indefinite period due to the injury, which affected his scheduled rematch against Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41.
Despite his injury, Owens has remained active, serving as a pre-show host at WWE NXT's Great American Bash and coaching on the third season of WWE LFG: Legends & Future Greats. Randy Orton, who faced Joe Hendry at WrestleMania 41, is also expected to return soon after being out of action since his loss to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 42.
