Kevin Owens Prepares for WWE Money in the Bank Match Amid Neck Injury Concerns
Kevin Owens is set to compete in the WWE Money in the Bank Ladder Match this weekend, despite concerns regarding a past neck injury. In a recent interview, he shared insights about his condition and the potential impact of new hardware in his neck on his performance.
Owens revealed that he sustained neck trauma during a match in January 2025, which he was unaware of at the time. He continued to wrestle in high-stakes matches, including a Ladder Match against Cody Rhodes at the Royal Rumble. Following an MRI, he learned the extent of his injury, which required surgery.
Despite the risks associated with the Ladder Match format, Owens remains determined to compete. He will face five other wrestlers, including CM Punk, who has previously won the Money in the Bank match twice. The event is scheduled to take place at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, on October 10.
